The Tamiya 32606 1/48 scale kit presents the M5A1 Stuart in compact form, suitable for collectors and history minded modellers. The M5A1 served as a light reconnaissance and combat vehicle in World War II, featuring twin V8 petrol engines that allowed speeds up to 58 km/h. The kit reproduces the Stuart's welded hull and sloped armour and includes the revised turret with its 37mm gun and a 7.62mm machine gun mount. Modelled track grousers and surface finishes mirror the Stuarts seen in North Africa, Italy and on the Western Front during the conflict.

Construction details and display potential

Included are newly moulded sections for the front and upper hull together with a detailed turret, complete with realistic weld marks and cast textures.
