The Panzer IV played a central role in German armoured forces during World War II, with production over 8,000 units. Referred to as the "workhorse", it saw many revisions. The Ausf. J introduced in 1944 reflects a move to simpler construction methods as resources dwindled.
Tamiya's 1/35 rendition reproduces the vehicle's external detail with precision. The kit contains neatly moulded plastic parts, a long 75mm main gun representation, flexible track assemblies and swap-in wheel options so modellers can represent distinct production marks.
As a static model the kit is ideal for display cabinets or diorama vignettes. It comes with a crew figure, machine gun details and a storage chest to increase realism. Choose open or closed hatches and finish with the supplied waterslide decals to complete a convincing Panzer Mk.IV Ausf. J.
