The M26 Pershing arrived late in World War II to bolster Allied armour against heavier German tanks, armed with a 90mm main gun and improved mobility. It first operated in Europe in 1945 and later served in the Korean theatre against Soviet-pattern tanks.
Tamiya's 1/35 interpretation recreates the Pershing's contours and surface finish, including a long 90mm barrel and detailed turret sculpting. The completed model measures 245mm in length and includes separate engine grills to add dimensional detail.
Options for hatch positions and a functional suspension let you tailor the pose for diorama work. The kit arrives with two crew figures, ammunition boxes and decals representing four distinct unit markings for accurate finishes.
