The Krupp Protze Kfz.69 was widely used as a light artillery tractor due to its straightforward engineering and towing ability. This 1/35 Tamiya kit presents the vehicle with accurate proportions and parts that let modellers recreate its service appearance.
Built from the early 1930s, the Protze employed an air cooled flat four engine that achieved speeds up to about 70 km/h and proved effective hauling the 3.7cm Pak 35/36. Subsequent engine improvements in the mid 1930s raised performance and aided operations across different campaigns.
The kit provides cleanly moulded components and clear assembly flow, making it rewarding to finish with authentic paint and weathering. It is a strong choice for modellers creating period displays or expanding a collection of WWII light vehicles.
