The Tamiya 1/35 JSU-152 kit provides a realistic representation of a WWII Soviet heavy self-propelled gun. It saw service at major engagements including Kursk and the Battle of Berlin, and was used to counter German heavy armour.
Built on the JS-2 chassis, the JSU-152 reached frontlines in 1943 and earned the moniker "Zveroboy" or "beast killer" for its capability against heavily armoured targets. Its ML-20S 152mm howitzer enabled both direct and indirect fire roles.
The kit captures cast metal textures and includes detailed items such as the DShK machine gun and photo-etched engine grilles. Builders can choose between belt or assembly-style tracks, and the set contains markings and figures for an accurate finish.
