The Israeli M51 was a modified M4A1 Sherman that proved influential in the 1960s, notably during the Six-Day War in 1967. This Tamiya 35323 1/35 kit recreates the key conversion features, such as the fitted French 105mm CN-105-F1 gun which required a muzzle brake and turret counterbalance. The period vehicle used a 460hp diesel engine and upgraded suspension to improve mobility against vehicles like the T-54/55 and JS-3.
Tamiya recreates the cast texture on the turret and upper hull, supplies HVSS suspension components and T80-style tracks, and includes scale accessories like tools and jerry cans to support accurate finishing and display.
