British airborne forces used a folding bicycle during the war to extend reach after landing, a straightforward mechanical answer to the mobility challenge of paratroops. The Parabike folded at a central joint so it could be carried by a single soldier and deployed quickly on the ground. This Tamiya 1/35 kit faithfully renders that concept for modeller and collector projects.

Accuracy, Assembly Options and Figure Poses

The release includes two bicycles with the option to build them folded or unfolded, and separate handle and pedal pieces for enhanced fidelity. Two figure sculpts are supplied, illustrating one rider and one support figure, with alternate heads and arms to allow for varied stances.
