The Tamiya 36213 1/16 M551 Sheridan is a faithful static replica of the US airborne tank. Introduced in 1959 and used in Vietnam and later conflicts, the Sheridan was engineered for light weight and air transportability to support fast deployments.

Authentic Materials and Presentation Quality

Built as a display model, this kit uses elements from Tamiya's R/C program to reproduce fine detail. The assembled model measures 408mm long, 177mm wide, and 186mm high including the gun shield. It includes a machined aluminium gun barrel and metal components for the lower hull and drive sprockets to add realism.

Assembly Notes for Modellers

Pre-assembled plastic track sections and soft resin pad representations make the build manageable while keeping accurate appearance. Photo-etched metal parts are provided to recreate features like anti-RPG netting and other delicate fittings for historically informed results.
