The Tamiya 37021 captures the M107, a 175mm artillery vehicle introduced in 1956 and widely used during the Vietnam War period. This 1/35 scale kit reproduces characteristic features such as the lengthy barrel, open-top superstructure and hydraulic spade, echoing service through conflicts including the 1968 Khe Sanh operations.
This kit upgrades the classic Italeri tooling with refreshed parts and Tamiya quality control for better fit. It contains detailed jerry can mounts, hydraulic piping features and belt-type tracks that can be cemented for a finished look. Vinyl tubing is supplied to simulate hydraulic lines and the set includes Tamiya figures and M16A1 rifle details to populate your vignette.
Included decals offer two Vietnam-era marking schemes and the rear spade may be modelled in either a deployed or stowed position after assembly. These options, together with the accessory pack, make the M107 a strong choice for weathered displays and multi-vehicle dioramas.
