The Tamiya 42275 - TRF503 is a race-focused evolution from the Tamiya Racing Factory. This 1/10 scale buggy chassis targets improved traction and handling to help drivers maintain consistent lines at speed.
The TRF503 reorganises key components to improve on-track behaviour. The lower deck wheelbase is lengthened by 7.5mm to increase straight-line stability, while the motor is moved forward by 10.5mm and positioned closer to the centreline to cut chassis roll and enhance mid-corner control.
A single-piece aluminium centre pulley is used to accommodate higher output motors, and aluminium bulkheads reduce chassis weight by about 20%, aiding agility and throttle response.
Handling improvements stem from revised suspension geometry. The aluminium suspension plate features a 14 degree angle to refine damper rebound and transition behaviour. Big bore aeration dampers and oil-filled gear differentials give predictable shock absorption and steady traction across varying surfaces.
