Tamiya's TG10-Mk.2FZ continues the brand's tradition of race-focused kits, pairing a nitro engine with a streamlined Raikiri body. The design emphasises aerodynamic balance to help maintain control through fast sections.
The FS-12FZ .12 nitro glow engine is supplied with a sliding carburetor and an aluminium heat sink head to aid in temperature control. Combined with a 2-speed gearbox, it provides a broad power range suitable for different racing strategies.
The chassis combines a duraluminum lower deck with a resin upper deck for a rigid platform. Fully independent double wishbone suspension and oil-filled dampers give precise response, and shielded ball bearings reduce friction for efficient power transfer. Adjustable geometry and gear options allow detailed setup work.
The car comes with a TM-8 slim muffler and a 75cc fuel tank that supports roughly 8 minutes of running per fill. Tamiya's manual covers engine break-in, tuning and maintenance. To complete the car you will need a 2-channel radio, glow fuel, a receiver battery pack and two servos.
