Targeted at RC drift fans, the Tamiya 47301 TT-02D Type-S offers a focused platform to develop slide control and setup knowledge. It evolves the TT-02 Type-S into a more capable drift package that responds well to tuning and upgrades.

Suspension and drivetrain overview

The TT-02D Type-S features a shaft-driven 4WD system and fully independent double wishbone suspension to provide balanced handling in drift situations. Oil-filled shock absorbers smooth transitions, and reversible suspension arms with 3mm FRP damper stays give durable adjustment options.

Included hardware and tuneable parts

Fitted with a torque-tuned 540-brushed motor and a blue anodised aluminium heat sink, the kit manages torque and cooling for drift use. Super Driftech rubber tyres on black 5-spoke wheels are supplied, and adjustable turnbuckle upper arms and steering linkage simplify camber and toe setup.
