This Tamiya R/C construction kit is a reproduction related to Nissan Skyline GT-R (R-32) as it raced in the 1993 Japanese Touring vehicle Championship. The tuning business HKS offered both engine tuning and livery towards the group that took 2 poles and a victory!
TT-01 E Chassis
The bath tub framework of this developed shaft-driven 4WD TT-01 Type-E has its motor and battery pack towards the ground for reduced center of gravity and optimum balance. Installed on the tub framework is a fiberglass strengthened nylon upper deck and gear covers improving rigidity, as well as a 3-piece tie pole supplying a smoother steering action. The reduced center of gravity, great balanced design, 4-wheel double wishbone suspension system system, and front part and rear differential gears all come together to make exceptional running capability. 70mm-diameter radial tires are combined with tires developed only for this model; the high sidewalls trigger forgiving turns.
