The Tamiya Mercedes-Benz C11 brings a celebrated Group C racer into model form. First seen in 1990, this 1/10 kit is aimed at enthusiasts who value scale fidelity and hands-on assembly.
The original C11 used a Mercedes-Benz M119 5.0L twin turbo V8 and was built by Sauber, notable for prominently carrying the Mercedes-Benz marque on a prototype. Tamiya honours that lineage with this 1/10 offering (Kit No. 47484).
The polycarbonate body measures 490mm long and 206mm wide to match the original silhouette. The chassis is a composite design featuring an ABS resin bathtub and FRP plates, giving a sturdy platform for realistic handling.
Collectors and track-minded hobbyists will appreciate the mix of period detail and a chassis that accepts sensible tuning and upgrades for better on-track behaviour.
