The Tamiya 49277 Nissan 350Z body set adds a carbon patterned finish to 1/10 scale on-road R/C cars. The kit includes decals, window tint film plus the clips and plastic fixings needed to mount the shell.

Installation Tips and Model Fit

Trim the wheel arches and edges for a tailored fit to your chassis. This body is intended for electric vehicles only because glow-engine fuel may damage the painted finish. Recommended compatible chassis are Tamiya TA03F, TA03R, TL-01, TB-01 and TA04-Pro.

Will the paint survive exposure to nitro fuel?

No. The carbon pattern paint is not resistant to glow fuel, so avoid using this body on nitro cars.

Is trimming required before fitting?

Yes. Trimming wheel wells and the lower lip will help achieve a precise fit to your chosen chassis layout.

Can I add my own graphics over the finish?

You can apply additional decals or vinyl, but test adhesion on an edge first and avoid solvents that could affect the carbon pattern paint.
