High Rigidity Arms for the TRF420 Chassis

These suspension arms are tailored for the Tamiya TRF420 racing chassis and are moulded from carbon reinforced plastic to increase rigidity and component life. The stiffer arms promote stable handling under race loads.

Fine Tune Lever Ratio

The Tamiya 51639 parts use aluminium insert locations for damper fixing, which enables lever ratio changes by fitting different insert kits (inserts sold separately). This allows careful tuning of roll and pitch balance.

Engineered Rear Offset

Rear arms incorporate a 3mm offset to the rear to suit the shorter TRF420 lower deck while preserving the same wheelbase, offering improved rear traction for corner exits.

Compatibility and Required Parts

These arms fit TRF420, TRF419, TA07 and TB-05 PRO models and require 3mm diameter shafts; the matching shafts are available separately as Item 51637. Depending on chassis variations, wheelbase adjustments or spacers may be necessary.

Yes. Their increased rigidity and tuning options make them suitable for club and competition use, particularly where consistent handling is required.
Ride height is largely unaffected by the arm shape, but changes in lever ratio from different inserts can alter effective suspension travel. Check geometry after setup changes.
The required 3mm diameter shafts are sold separately as Item 51637. Using the correct shafts ensures secure mounting and predictable handling.
