Race-oriented rear uprights for the TRF420

The Tamiya 51640 TRF420 E-Parts rear uprights are intended for racers who want a firmer rear section on their TRF420. Produced from carbon fibre reinforced plastic, these uprights deliver a stiffer mounting for suspension components to help keep handling predictable.

Engineered bearing locations for reliable performance

These uprights are manufactured with exact bearing locations to cut down on misalignment and drag. Properly installed, they support freer wheel rotation and steadier cornering behaviour.

Designed for 3mm shafts and TRF420 D integration

They accept 3mm diameter shafts, which are sold separately as Item 51637, and are compatible with TRF420 D Parts (Suspension Arms). This makes them easy to adopt into standard TRF420 builds when refining setup or upgrading durability.

Will these uprights change rear camber behaviour?

They increase structural stiffness at the wheel hub area which can stabilise camber under load, but final camber still depends on arm geometry and setup.

Are special tools needed for fitment?
