The Tamiya 51705 body part set reproduces the Porsche 911 GT3 (992) in a 1/10 scale format suitable for on-road RC chassis. Made from resilient polycarbonate, the shell combines weight savings with impact resistance for regular hobby use.

Scale detail and construction notes

The polycarbonate body reflects the GT3's styling and aerodynamic shapes. The kit includes separate pieces such as the rear spoiler and front light housings, all produced in the same material for colour and finish consistency. Black PC-ABS components form the side mirrors and wing stays to provide robust, realistic fittings.

Tools for finishing and assembly

Marking stickers plus window masking stickers are provided to help achieve clean paintwork and accurate trim. Metal fittings are included to secure the body and accessory parts so they remain attached during dynamic use.

Chassis compatibility and setup restrictions

This body is compatible with Tamiya TT-02, TT-01 and TT-01 Type-E chassis only when set to the 251mm short wheelbase. It will not fit TT-02B or TT-02T variants. Users should adopt a narrower rear tread when fitting to TT-01 or TT-02 to ensure correct clearance.
