The Tamiya 53420 Aluminum Pinion Gear Set provides a pair of close-ratio pinions to help you adjust acceleration and cruising speed on TA-04 platforms. The 40T and 41T options let you make small changes without altering the spur or motor.

Construction and What Is Included

These pinions are machined from aluminium to keep weight down while offering reliable tooth strength for normal hobby use. The kit ships with three 3mm set screws and an allen key to secure the pinion to the motor shaft.

Pitch and Brand Compatibility

Designed to the 48P metric pitch standard, these pinions follow Tamiya's specifications and may not mesh perfectly with other manufacturers even if they list 48P. Always confirm pitch and tooth form before mixing parts.
