Centre Pulley Upgrade for TA04 Drivetrains

The Tamiya 53474 - TA04 Aluminum Center Pulley is intended for the TA04 platform when using a centre one-way unit. It fits onto the spur gear shaft to reinforce the drivetrain and refine the gear engagement.

Machined from aluminium, this centre pulley gives a more durable option than standard materials. The plain metal finish is practical for frequent running and resists everyday wear.

Supplied with Fitting Hardware

This pack includes one centre pulley, three 3mm grub screws and a hex wrench so you can install the part without needing extra fittings. The hardware matches the TA04 fitting pattern.

Accurate Dimensions for Correct Installation

The part measures 18mm outer diameter with a pulley tooth diameter of 13.6mm. Total height is 13mm and the pulley height is 7.5mm, engineered to sit correctly in the TA04 assembly.

Will this work with my TRF components?

The pulley is made for TA04, but some dimensions are similar to TRF414 items. Check shaft diameter and spacing before pairing with TRF components.

Are replacement grub screws available?

The package contains three 3mm grub screws. If you need spares, replace with the same size and grade to maintain secure mounting.

How do I check correct gear mesh?
