Compact aluminium ball nuts for accurate link control

The Tamiya 53640 5mm Aluminum Ball Nut Set is intended for TB Evolution I, II, III and TG10R chassis, providing durable link terminations with an anodised blue finish. These parts suit racers and hobby builders wanting neat, reliable linkage components.

Robust aluminium with protective coating

Produced from aluminium and anodised to protect the surface, the blue finish helps guard against everyday abrasion and keeps the hardware looking tidy through routine use.

Pack contents and installation note

The pack contains ten 5mm ball nuts and should be installed following the instructions in your model kit manual. They integrate directly into the specified TB Evolution and TG10R linkage positions.

Alternate finish option

For different styling, a red anodised variant is also offered, letting builders match their link hardware to the rest of the car.

Yes, these ball nuts are suitable for both on road and light off road use when fitted to the compatible TB Evolution or TG10R mounting points.
If the original assembly calls for thread lock or a secure fit, follow those instructions. Anodising does not replace the need for proper securing where recommended.
This listing is for the ten piece set. Check with authorised parts suppliers if you need single item replacements or service packs.
Test fit each nut into the ball cup and onto the linkage stud before applying final thread locking or torque to confirm correct engagement.
The anodised layer is thin and should not noticeably affect ball joint movement. Regular inspection and light lubrication where appropriate will keep linkages operating smoothly.
