The Tamiya 53981 Front Brake Upgrade Kit fits the Nitrage 5.2 and supplies a front brake assembly to work with the original rear system, delivering full 4-wheel braking capability. Separate linkage paths permit individual front and rear settings so riders can optimise stopping performance.

Parts Included in the Set

The upgrade includes one brake disc, two units of Brake Pad A, two units of Brake Pad B, a brake piston, a brake camshaft, a brake arm and the required screws to complete installation.

Suitable Chassis

The Tamiya 53981 Front Brake Set is compatible with the TGM-04 and Nitrage 5.2 chassis and is suitable as both a replacement part and an upgrade to improve braking response.

Will the Tamiya 53981 mount without modification?

When fitted to the TGM-04 or Nitrage 5.2 the parts are designed for direct installation. Other models may not match the mounting points so check compatibility first.

Can I replace brake pads separately?

Brake pads are replaceable items. Keep spares of Brake Pad A or B for wear, and source replacements from Tamiya or specialist hobby suppliers.
