Tamiya 54439 Suspension Weight Block for TRF201 / DN-01 (0 degree)  [54439]

This RC suspension weight block is manufactured by Tamiya and listed as part number 54439, designed to replace the kit N3 suspension pieces on TRF201 and DN-01 chassis. The 0 degree configuration moves mass forward of the front suspension mounts to influence nose behaviour.

The kit includes the metal weight block together with the suspension plate and bushings that supersede the original plastic N3 parts, yielding a firmer front end and a modest increase in front traction while keeping suspension geometry intact. The supplied assembly weighs about 30g.

Fitting is straightforward: remove the kit N3 items and install the metal block and plate using the existing mounting points on TRF201 or DN-01 chassis. No chassis modification is necessary, but standard RC hand tools are required. After fitting, recheck ride height and steering trim before use.

As a tuning aid the added front mass and rigidity will change grip balance and can be used to reduce understeer or to stabilise corner entry depending on other setup choices. Make incremental adjustments and revert to stock parts if the handling change is not desirable.
