Upgrade TT-02 Steering with Tamiya Aluminium Components

Swap out the TT-02 plastic steering items for Tamiya aluminium parts to gain improved steering accuracy and longer-lasting components. The kit focuses on reducing play in the linkage for more predictable handling.

Parts Included in the Set

This kit provides a full set of aluminium steering replacements intended for direct fitment to the TT-02 steering assembly:

  • Aluminum Steering Arms: Two reinforced arms for improved longevity.
  • Aluminum Steering Posts: Create a more precise steering pivot point.
  • Steering Bridge: Helps control chassis flex and keeps geometry stable.
  • Hi-Torque Servo Saver (Black): Maintains servo protection while offering reliable performance.
  • TT-02 Hi-Torque Servo Saver Horn: Designed to deliver consistent steering input translation.

What Upgrading Achieves

By fitting aluminium steering parts you reduce linkage movement and improve steering feedback. That leads to steadier cornering lines and easier setup tuning for both street sessions and competitive events.

Cheapest prices for Kyosho parts I have seen! An improvement you could consider is to provide a lead time for orders if you are required to order stock in prior to shipment.

All items ordered with ease, delivered extremely fast & well packaged, many thanks. Would definitely use again
The kit preserves the original geometry while replacing materials; steering geometry should remain the same unless you alter tie rods or mounts separately.
Using a small amount of medium-strength thread-lock on metal-to-metal screws is a good precaution to avoid loosening during use, but avoid overuse near moving pivots.
Aluminium parts reduce slop, which can make centring more noticeable; after fitting, re-centre the servo and check endpoint and trim settings for best results.
