Designed for the scale modelling community, this Tamiya kit recreates the Volvo FH16 Globetrotter XL in 1/14 scale with an emphasis on accurate styling and realistic construction. The kit suits modellers who want a faithful replica that can also be prepared for running.
The cab components are produced by precise injection moulding and the signature grille is supplied as photo-etched parts for sharp detail. The model features a rear-axle driven 4x2 configuration, with the motor mounted forward and the gearbox located on a metal ladder frame. The assembly-type 3-speed transmission gives realistic gear changes when controlled by a 4-channel transmitter (sold separately).
