The ARTA Honda NSX has been competing in Super GT since its 2000 introduction and became an official Honda works entry in 2005. That season featured a pole-to-finish success at Autopolis Round 7, and with drivers Daisuke Ito and Ralf Firman the team finished second overall in both Driver and Team standings. Tamiya recreates that race car in a ready-to-run scale model for enthusiasts.
The Tamiya 57753 XB is based on the TT-01 chassis, a platform recognised for approachable setup and consistent road manners. Its bathtub frame keeps the weight of electronics and the battery low to aid balance and reduce the centre of gravity. With independent double wishbone suspension on all four wheels and differentials front and rear, the car delivers controlled handling under pressure.
The model is supplied with a fully built TT-01 chassis and a pre-painted polycarbonate body faithful to the ARTA NSX design. It comes fitted with race-style wheels and slick tyres for grip on smooth tracks and includes the Expec R/C system with a trigger-style transmitter so you can run it out of the box.
The Tamiya 57753 XB ARTA NSX is a fine choice for collectors and racers wanting an authentic Super GT replica with out-of-the-box running capability.
