Regarding the Volkswagen Beetle The Volkswagen Type 1, or even more often called the Beetle or Bug, was in fact made from 1938 until 2003, which is however very beloved automobiles ever. As a small affordable "People's automobile" designed to pre-war demands, the Beetle simple design turned out to be exceptionally dependable, using its rear-mounted, air-cooled flat-four motor and suspension system system withstanding also fight conditions of WWII. Its distinctive aerodynamic form was the building blocks of its now famous "Beetle" name, as well as the circular form also inspired such monikers as "bubble" and "turtle" in various nations all over the world.
