Blitzer Beetle - Heritage Meets Trail Capability

The Tamiya 58122 Blitzer Beetle turns a classic Volkswagen Beetle silhouette into a practical 1/10 scale off-road buggy, retaining character while focusing on simple, reliable performance across mixed surfaces.

Design Details and Materials

Body panels are moulded from ABS plastic and supplied with decals so you can personalise the look. The drivetrain is a rear 2WD configuration with power routed through a dog bone drive shaft to the gearbox. The fully independent double wishbone suspension provides predictable handling on uneven ground.

Engineered for Everyday Off-Road Use

With a 540-brushed motor as standard, the Blitzer Beetle offers steady power delivery suited to grass and dirt. Oil-filled plastic shock absorbers cushion impacts while rubber pin spike tyres improve traction on soft surfaces. A mechanical ESC is included to manage basic speed control during runs.
