This 2005 German Touring automobile Championship (DTM) saw a complete of 4 brand new generation A4 DTM cars entered by works group Audi Sport Team Abt Sportsline, which faced rivals Opel and Mercedes in a search for a supplementary consecutive success. The Audi car sponsored by Siemens, a German electric and telecommunications company, represents the start of a committed partnership between your two premium brands. Piloted by previous F1 diver Allan McNish of Scotland, the Siemens Audi finished in the top of 5 out of 11 events, with McNish placing tenth general in the motorists placement.
