CR-01 Structural Layout

The CR-01 uses a pressed aluminium ladder frame with resin cross members to combine strength and lightness. This structural approach supports the suspension and drivetrain while keeping the overall kit manageable for trail work.

Gearbox Ratios and Motor Flexibility

The planetary gearbox fitted with a 20T pinion delivers a factory 40.5:1 ratio. Builders can change pinions between 16T and 25T to reach ratios from 50.6:1 to 32.4:1 to match different driving styles. A 540 motor is supplied; ESC, a 2-channel radio and a 7.2V battery must be provided by the builder.

Suspension Tuning for Traction

The 4-link coil spring arrangement gives the articulation and wheel travel needed for technical sections. Inboard dampers linked to a torsion stabiliser bar help maintain balance and provide a predictable response on uneven surfaces.

Beadlock Wheelset and Crawler Tyres
