The Tamiya 58428 Nissan Skyline GT-R (R32) faithfully reproduces the R32 silhouette in 1/10 scale on the TT-01D drift chassis. It combines authentic styling with a chassis set up for controlled sliding and easy maintenance.

Chassis Performance Overview

The TT-01D features a shaft-driven 4WD bathtub chassis that gives a stable platform for drift practice. Independent double wishbone suspension with coil springs and sealed differential gearboxes keeps handling steady. Drift enhancements such as full ball bearings, the RS-540 sport-tuned motor and CVA super mini shock dampers make the model durable in extended sessions.

Model Finish and Lighting

The clear polycarbonate body captures R32 details including the front and rear arches and bonnet vent, fitted to silver wheels shod with Super Driftech tyres in a resin-rubber mix. The kit includes a white and red LED Light Unit for front and rear illumination, and the shell can accept further LEDs if desired.

Customising and Fitment

The Tamiya 58428 offers many tuning options through official upgrade parts to refine handling or looks. Adding the Tamiya LED Light Control Unit (TLU-02) will enable more complex light functions, while tune-up parts allow you to tailor gear ratios, suspension and motor choice.
