Super GT300 Replica on the TA05V.2 Chassis

The Tamiya 58435 - 1/10 RC Cusco Dunlop Subaru Impreza faithfully represents the 2008 Super GT300 AWD contender, bringing that race car's styling and presence to a scale model that hobbyists can build and tune.

TA05V.2 Performance and Layout

On the TA05V.2, a narrower chassis profile helps increase clearance for aggressive lines, while the new battery placement assists weight distribution for improved cornering. The drivetrain features front and rear 37T ball differentials and an 18T centre pulley for smooth torque transfer, and the inboard front suspension with reversible arms and uprights plus 1050 ball bearings enhances precision handling.

Kit Contents and Build Considerations

The polycarbonate Cusco Dunlop body includes separate components such as mirrors, a prominent rear wing, and front canards to reproduce scale aero. Assembly rewards patience and accuracy; the kit includes a Type 540 motor but you will need to add an ESC, a two-channel radio and a battery pack to complete the car.

They are trustworthy, honest, helpful
The chassis is quite adaptable; small changes to shock oil, spring rates and toe settings will noticeably change behaviour for tight or fast circuits.
The Type 540 motor is suitable for casual track use, but moving to a modern brushless setup will offer significant gains if you aim for competitive lap times.
Use polycarbonate paints and apply thin coats, masking carefully for the Cusco Dunlop livery; test fit mounting points before final painting.
Regular lubrication of bearings and checking differential oil or gear wear will extend component life and maintain consistent handling.
