Tamiya has released Sand Rover 2011 DT-02 in 1/10 R/C Models 2WD RWD drivetrain assembly kit under Electric Powered Off-Road Buggy category

The Sand Rover attracted many hobbyists on exciting world of R/C in very early times during the the atmosphere control buggy period. Initially released in 1981, the R/C Sand Rover showcased easy construction and a dune buggy body design. To commemorate its 30th anniversary, Tamiya is matching the classic buggy human anatomy using the contemporary, easy-to-assemble DT-02 framework, rendering it ideal for the ones that are not always R/C pastime.

Specs:

1/10 scale R/C installation kit.
The durable resin body is molded in white and may even even be finished using Tamiya Colors paints.
The DT-02 chassis is sold with a 4-wheel separate suspension system with coil springtime dampers.
380 size motor included and it is along side a 10T pinion gear (gear ratio=15.768:1)
Fully-enclosed gearbox protects against dust and debris.
Ribbed front side and spiked rear tires
Semi-finished driver figure (pre-painted face & cap) included.
Included Type 380 engine can be changed with Type 540 engine to improve price and power.
Speed Controller: electronic rate controller(maybe not included)
