Drawing on its 1980s heritage, Tamiya has reissued the Monster Beetle as the 2015 edition. The kit includes a paint-ready polystyrene Volkswagen Beetle body, offering scope for period-correct or modern paint schemes.

The Monster Beetle is defined by its raised ride height and large 130mm diameter tyres with a lug pattern suited to rough lawns and dirt.
