The Tamiya Water Scooter is a clear example of simple mechanical engineering and fluid behaviour. The motor turns a centrifugal impeller that draws water in and forces it out a nozzle to create forward motion, while a rear rudder controls direction.
This small model snaps and screws together with just six parts, making assembly quick. Two sticker sets let you customise the look, and the included suction cup lets the motor and pump be removed for use in other practical projects.
To power the motor you will need one R03/AAA/UM4 battery, which is not included in the kit box.
