Tamiya XF-89 Dark Green 2 in a 10ml bottle is tailored for fine finishing on small models. The water soluble acrylic resin formulation makes it usable with both brushes and airbrushes across styrene resins, Styrofoam, wood and typical model plastics, delivering even flat coverage.

Application Notes

This paint applies smoothly and allows blending for custom shades or weathering techniques. Because it is removable with water before curing, you can correct mistakes or soften edges during the painting process. The XF code identifies a flat, non-reflective finish.

Drying and Retouching Advice

Thin for airbrushing with Tamiya X-20A Acrylic Thinner or, for a quicker cure and tougher surface, consider Tamiya Lacquer Thinner with caution on some plastics. For brush work, use Tamiya Paint Retarder (87114) to minimise brush marks and aid levelling.
