The Tamiya 84210 - TA05 Aluminum Bulkhead replaces the factory resin gear case with a gold-finished aluminium unit to increase longevity and cut friction in the drivetrain. The metallic housing offers a clean upgrade that stands up to frequent running.

Accurate Fit and Reduced Wear

With precision-machined surfaces, this bulkhead helps maintain accurate gear alignment and reduces wear on mating components. The stiffer construction gives a more durable mounting for internal gear parts under race conditions.

Fitment Limitations and Simple Swapover

This bulkhead is suitable for most TA05 models but cannot be fitted to the front of TA05-IFS cars because the IFS front end uses a different suspension assembly. Fitting is generally straightforward and requires no chassis modification.
