Tamiya 84370 - DF-03 MS Chassis Introduction

The Tamiya 84370 - DF-03 MS brings a practical, tuneable 1/10 buggy platform to the table. It balances buildability with performance features so drivers can focus on setup and upgrades.

Drivetrain Characteristics

The mid-motor, shaft-driven 4WD layout targets balanced traction and responsive steering. The assembly includes a slipper clutch, universal assembly shaft and a centre one-way that together smooth power delivery and reduce drivetrain shock.

Adjustability and Handling Options

The fully independent double wishbone suspension allows precise changes to camber, front toe, clearance and shock angle, giving a wide spectrum of handling adjustments for different surfaces.

What Hop-Up Parts Are Included

This limited edition contains hop-up components such as the DF-02 Assembly Universal Shaft, DF-03 Heat Sink Bar Set and DF-03 Aluminum Damper Set to strengthen critical areas and improve response.

Appearance and Customisation

The Dark Impact body carries distinctive TRF styling by Satoshi Maezumi and is supplied with two wings and decal sheets so you can adjust both looks and aero balance.

Assembly time varies but most hobbyists can complete the kit over several evenings, depending on experience and attention to setup details.
While the drivetrain is sturdy, take care with water ingress; shielded bearings help but avoid deep water and clean the model after wet runs.
Aluminium damper upgrades, a tuned motor/ESC combo and careful camber and shock angle adjustments typically yield the most noticeable improvements.
Tamiya and third-party suppliers offer replacement parts for common wear items, making maintenance and repair straightforward.
