Tamiya PS-22 Racing Green Spray for RC Shells

Specifically formulated for polycarbonate car bodies, the Tamiya PS-22 Racing Green spray delivers an even coat when applied correctly. A single 100ml can typically covers a standard 1/10 shell with light, multiple passes.

Application Advice

Always spray from the inside of the body and keep an approximate 30cm distance to produce a smooth layer. Let each coat dry completely before adding further coats to avoid lifting. Use Tamiya bottle paints for fine detail work around windows and trim.

Resistance to Oil and Fuel

The PS-22 Racing Green mix is formulated to resist oil and fuel contact, making it appropriate for use on nitro and petrol powered RC bodies. Properly applied paint will help protect the finish during normal running.

Will this spray work on larger scale bodies like 1/8?

The paint will adhere to polycarbonate regardless of scale, but larger bodies need more paint. One 100ml can is usually for a single 1/10 shell, so expect to use more for 1/8 scale bodies.

Do I need to prep the shell before spraying?
