The Tamiya PS-35 Blue Violet aerosol has been developed for polycarbonate car bodies to achieve strong adhesion and an even finish. It is well suited to hobbyists tuning the look of their models while keeping the paint flexible.
Apply from inside the lexan shell and maintain a spray distance near 30cm to limit runs. Work in thin, overlapping passes and let each coat dry before adding the next to build up colour. For small motifs and precision, use bottle paints after the main coats have cured.
The paint shows resistance to common oils and fuel encountered in RC use, making it compatible with both electric and nitro setups. Each can holds 100ml, which is generally sufficient to paint a single full-size RC body with conservative application.
