Tamiya PS-51 Purple Anodized Aluminium spray is made for hobbyists painting polycarbonate shells. The 100ml aerosol is sized for full-body jobs and helps you achieve a uniform interior coat that displays well externally.

Recommended Technique for Best Results

Paint the inner side of the polycarbonate body to achieve a smooth gloss on the outside. Maintain roughly 30cm between can and surface and apply multiple light layers. Allow each coat to dry before adding another to enhance colour and strength. Use Tamiya bottle paints for precise detailing and trim work.

Durability Against Oils and Fuels

The PS-51 formulation offers resistance to oils and model fuels, so it is suitable for nitro-powered cars. It retains a bright anodized appearance while coping with the demands of regular running.
