The Tamiya Diorama Texture Paint in Snow Effect White is ideal for giving scale models and diorama bases a convincing snowy surface. The water-based paste contains marble particles that create granular snow detail on layouts and scenic elements. A 100ml container generally covers a B4-sized area with a single application, which suits most hobby scenery tasks.

How to Apply the Paste

Use a spatula or an old brush to shape the snow, as the abrasive texture can wear new brush fibres. Being water-based, the paint is easy to remove from tools before it cures. Typical drying is around 3-4 hours in warm conditions and 4-5 hours when cooler. It is possible to mix the paste with other Tamiya acrylics to tweak colour, but avoid airbrushing this product to prevent nozzle blockages.
