Scale tribute to the Mercedes-Benz AMG 500SL 6.0

The Tamiya 89762 model kit lets modellers recreate the Mercedes-Benz AMG 500SL 6.0 at 1/24 scale. Revealed at the 1989 Geneva Motor Show, the AMG edition featured an enlarged 6 litre engine and aerodynamic changes that emphasised its sporting intent.

Realistic components and display options

The kit provides accurately moulded parts to reflect the original car, allowing builders to choose between a closed or open-top assembly with a deployable roll bar. The DOHC V8 assembly is detailed and can be viewed by taking off the front hood. AMG wheels and solid rubber tyres complete the scale appearance for shelf display or dioramas.

What adhesives are recommended?
