The AB41 proved a flexible wartime platform due to its drivetrain and steering features. Equipped with four-wheel drive, four-wheel steering and independent suspension, it carried out reconnaissance and liaison tasks with agility. It was commonly used in North African campaigns and many examples were later employed by German forces.
The Tamiya 1/48 kit renders the AB41s profile in 110mm length. The riveted hull is carefully represented by Italeri tooling, and the turret assembly with its 20mm gun shows crisp moulding. A die-cast chassis gives the assembled model a realistic feel, while fitted rubber tyres reflect the larger desert-pattern wheels. The kit includes decals for four schemes: two North African versions, an Italian service finish and a Wehrmacht marking.
