Tamiya 94680 - JR Hotshot Version 2 MS Chassis Heritage Kit

The Tamiya 94680 JR Hotshot Version 2 features an eye-catching Ultra Orange livery inspired by Momoi Halko. The soft orange body sits on a fluorescent orange MS centre chassis and is complemented by barrel-type tyres and large diameter gold-plated wheels for a classic Mini 4WD appearance.

New stickers and a Momoi Halko postcard are included to enhance the collectible presentation. The model measures 152mm in length, 92mm across and 49.7mm tall, and is driven by a double shaft motor requiring two R6/AA/UM3 batteries which are not provided. Although excellent for display, the MS chassis can be modified for better lap times on the track.

What batteries fit this model?

The car requires two R6/AA/UM3 batteries, which are not supplied. Use good quality alkaline or NiMH AA cells depending on your performance and runtime needs.

Is decal application difficult?

Decals are newly designed and generally straightforward to apply. Work on a clean surface, align carefully and use a hobby knife to trim any excess backing if needed.

Can I run different tyres for track testing?

Yes, swapping barrel-type tyres for other profiles can alter grip and handling. Make sure replacement tyres fit the same wheel hub diameter and follow class rules if racing.
