The Tamiya 94697 HG Hard FRP Wide Plate R is a precision component for Mini 4WD hobbyists aiming to tighten chassis response. Made from hard FRP with a 25% carbon fibre layer, the plate gives increased stiffness while keeping the assembly light. Its 3mm thickness delivers lasting rigidity for competitive running.

Fitting Details

This wide plate is designed for use with several Mini 4WD types, including MS chassis when used with bumperless T-03 parts and T-01 chassis with rear stays removed. It also fits VS, X and TZ-X chassis models. It is not suitable for the Mini 4WD PRO body Nitrage Jr. (Item 18619).

Performance and Racing Width

With mounting positions for 9mm, 13mm or 19mm bearing rollers the Tamiya 94697 can produce a finished machine width of about 104mm, keeping it within the 105mm regulation. That margin provides better stability and more predictable handling through turns.
