The Tamiya 95155 HG Carbon Rear Brake Stay is a finely made upgrade for Mini 4WD enthusiasts and collectors. Released as a limited item for Japan Cup 2022, this 1.5mm carbon stay aims to improve braking efficiency while lending a clean, competitive appearance. Its rigid carbon fibre construction is lighter than FRP, offering a weight advantage.
The part displays a distinctive surface texture and is printed with the Japan Cup and Tamiya logos in blue-green. It is compatible with many chassis platforms including MA, MS, FM-A, AR, Super-II, Super X, Super XX, Super TZ-X, VZ, and VS, so it works across a variety of builds. The multiple fixing holes allow mass dampers and other Grade-Up parts to be fitted for bespoke tuning.
Brake sponge is sold separately; the stay's generous pad area makes fitting straightforward. The shape reduces unwanted roller interference, however a small amount of trimming or adjustment to certain chassis or body shells may be necessary for a tidy installation.
