Issued to commemorate the Japan Cup 2025, this limited model features a unique colour scheme and metallic sticker accents. The compact VZ chassis gives the Jr Cross Spear 01 a lightweight profile suitable for display and competitive Mini 4WD use.
The VZ chassis includes reinforced areas such as the bumper and rear stay base to cope with racing impacts. Low friction 620 plastic bearings made from POM help reduce drivetrain drag, and the chassis is moulded in blue ABS for sturdy assembly. The drivetrain uses a fixed 3.5:1 gear ratio, allowing room for setup choices.
Body panels and truss components come in white ABS for a sharp finish. The kit uses fluorescent orange polypropylene 5-spoke wheels with black super-hard small diameter low-profile tyres. The tyre sidewalls display the Japan Cup 2025 logo in white for an authentic touch.
The assembly kit contains a Type 130 motor but requires two AA batteries that are not supplied. Overall dimensions are 158mm in length, 98mm in width and 35mm in height, making it compatible with standard Mini 4WD track layouts.
