The Tamiya 95285 HG Carbon Stay Wide Rear Sliding Damper provides a precision carbon upgrade for Mini 4WD racers. At 2mm thickness, the carbon fibre stay offers a weight saving over aluminium parts while retaining the stiffness needed for stable handling on race layouts.

Design, Fitment and Function

Made to replace the aluminium roller stays in the Tamiya Rear Sliding Damper Set (Item 15467), this stay fits MA and AR chassis designs commonly used for competitive setups. The carbon material cuts weight by around 40% and the sliding damper feature helps absorb collision forces when the car contacts track barriers, protecting the main chassis.

Assembly Notes

The Tamiya 95285 arrives with screws and washers included, allowing simple attachment either directly to the chassis or paired with Item 15467. Two installation examples are supplied to assist with correct mounting and clearances.
