The Tamiya 95573 Shooting Proud Star Clear Blue Special is a noteworthy Mini 4WD release with roots in the Hyper Dash! Yonkuro series. Fitted to the MA (Midship AERO) chassis, the design uses a midship motor arrangement to improve balance and streamline airflow. The MA platform is specified with a 3.5:1 gear ratio, six low-friction rollers and a rear skid bar, giving it a versatile base for both collectors and racers who like to tinker.

The body comes in clear blue ABS for a distinctive finish. The kit contains deep blue metal-plated 4-spoke wheels and super hard slick tyres with a white sidewall pinstripe. Included in the box is a Type 130 double shaft motor and the assembled drivetrain runs with a 4:1 gear ratio. Two AA batteries are needed but not included. A variety of Grade-Up Parts are offered separately for those who want to upgrade components or performance.
